SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibit: "A Photographer Travels" by Jim Amon
DESCRIPTION:Lambertville Public Library\, August 16-September 29\, 2023\n\nPhotographer Jim Amon takes his camera with him when he travels and is displaying travel photographs from many parts of Europe\, New York City\, Iceland\, Alaska\, Morocco\, the American West\, Maine\, and Oaxaca\, Mexico. These are beautiful photographs that reveal the intrinsic character of places that Jim has visited.\nJim Amon\, a Lambertville resident for over twenty years\, has exhibited widely throughout central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. He has had one-man shows at the D&R Greenway Land Trust in Princeton\, the East Amwell Historical Society\, the Hunterdon County Library\, and at Gallery 14 in Hopewell. He has joined other artists in shows at Phillips Mill\, Stover Mill\, Trenton Museum\, Perkins Gallery\, and several other venues in the region. His photographs have been published widely and he has published a book of essays and photographs exploring the natural world\, called SEEING THE SOURLANDS.

DESCRIPTION:Sing and color in French!\n\nCome chanter et dessiner (sing and color) en français! French coloring\, singing and learning for kids 5 and up. Local French teacher Wendy Rosen will teach aspiring young francophiles how to say and sing the alphabet in French\, vocabulary words for each letter\, simple songs and colors in French. We use coloring and singing to learn and reinforce introductory French words.\n\nThese classes will run Saturday mornings from 10:30-11 From September 9 – 30!
