DESCRIPTION:Lambertville artist Colleen Miller is pleased to announce her upcoming art exhibit\, “Threads of Nature: Mixed Media Works\,” at the Lambertville Public Library showcasing a captivating collection of diverse artworks that explore the intersection of nature and creativity. \nThis exhibit of Colleen Miller’s artwork features various pieces that show how the artist finds connections to nature. “Threads of Nature” reflects the beauty\, complexity\, and interconnectedness of the natural world. \n“My mixed media art represents a visual language that reflects life\, nature and movement and seeks to bring joy to the viewer. Like a double-sided coin\, I explore realistic painting as well as intuitive painting methods and fabric-paper collages\,” Miller said. \nVisitors can expect to encounter a range of artistic techniques\, including painting on canvas and wood\, as well as collage including vintage items\, fabric\, threads and ephemera. \nExhibit Dates: January 4\, 2024 – February 15\, 2024 \nOpening Reception: Thursday\, January 4 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm \nThe opening reception on Thursday\, January 4 -6:30 pm – 8:30 pm will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet the artist and engage in discussions about art.
