Lambertville Public Library, August 16-September 29, 2023
Photographer Jim Amon takes his camera with him when he travels and is displaying travel photographs from many parts of Europe, New York City, Iceland, Alaska, Morocco, the American West, Maine, and Oaxaca, Mexico. These are beautiful photographs that reveal the intrinsic character of places that Jim has visited.
Jim Amon, a Lambertville resident for over twenty years, has exhibited widely throughout central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. He has had one-man shows at the D&R Greenway Land Trust in Princeton, the East Amwell Historical Society, the Hunterdon County Library, and at Gallery 14 in Hopewell. He has joined other artists in shows at Phillips Mill, Stover Mill, Trenton Museum, Perkins Gallery, and several other venues in the region. His photographs have been published widely and he has published a book of essays and photographs exploring the natural world, called SEEING THE SOURLANDS.
