Our new look!

The Library has undergone some exciting new changes! We’ve worked to make things better and more accessible for you, and we have many changes coming soon.

Here are some of the changes we’ve made already:
  • Expanded space for adult fiction by 10%
  • Rearranged shelving for accessibility
  • Relocated the Large Print collection for easier access and visibility
  • Increased small group meeting space and study areas
  • Relocated popular nonfiction downstairs for greater visibility
  • Opened the flow of the building
  • Increased natural lighting from window areas
  • Put all the children’s materials and parenting books together
  • Increased the Spanish language collection
  • Expanded the Young Adult collection space
And here are some upcoming changes:
  • New individual computer stations
  • New graphic novel section downstairs
  • Expanded Nonfiction sections
We also give a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers that helped make this possible!

Drag Queen Story Hour

When I was little, I loved story time, and it didn’t matter whether it was at our library, or at school, or at a special event, or even just at home, a home-grown story hour, if you will. The child in me was absolutely blown away when I saw my first Drag Queen Story Hour.
