Visit from the NJ State Library and Institute of Museum and Library Services @ LFPL

The library was honored with a visit from representatives from the NJ State Library and from the Institute of Museum and Library Services out of Washington DC. Lambertville was one of four libraries in the state chosen to showcase our work with a small federal grant that enabled us to broaden our services to Lambertville’s Hispanic community, which ultimately led to the production of Oaxaca Day. Congratulations to Trina, Fran, and all of the staff and volunteers whose hard work made this such a successful program!

Take a Cake Break!

It’s no secret that I am a fan of cookbooks. And I like to bake. I borrowed the Jack-o-lantern pan from the many available baking pans at the library, and immediately started thinking about what to bake.

Drag Queen Story Hour

When I was little, I loved story time, and it didn’t matter whether it was at our library, or at school, or at a special event, or even just at home, a home-grown story hour, if you will. The child in me was absolutely blown away when I saw my first Drag Queen Story Hour.
