Karen Riedeburg

Position: President

Term Ends: 12/31/28

Karen grew up going to the Adriance Memorial Library in Poughkeepsie, New York, and has been drawn to libraries ever since, eventually working at the Grinnell College library as an undergraduate work-study student and at Vassar College library over summer breaks. She first visited Lambertville in the early 1990s and moved here in 1996, when she took a job at Educational Testing Service in Princeton. She could not believe her luck when she was asked to join the Lambertville Library board in 2020, and she is grateful for the opportunity to support this wonderful local institution. Karen has a BA in English and Master’s Degrees in English Literature and Library Science. She lives with her husband Dennis and two highly entertaining cats.

My favorite books include Willa Cather’s My Ántonia, Robert Caro’s The Power Broker, and Wellness by Nathan Hill. Ask me next week and I’ll give you three different titles!
