Amy Connelly

Position: Mayor’s Representative

Term Ends: 12/31/29

Amy and her husband Dann fell in love with Lambertville when they would drive from Philadelphia for date nights in the early 2000s. In 2004, they bought a fixer upper in Lambertville and started (never-ending) DIY renovations. Their insatiably curious son and daughter expanded their family in 2014 and 2015 and quickly became avid Bouncy Book Time fans. As a former corporate director turned personal coach, Amy brings problem-solving and long-term planning skills to her role as trustee, with a special focus on facilitating the creation of two multi-year strategic plans. She takes pleasure in Lambertville’s everyday joys—from walks along the canal to the best hot-cocoa she’s ever tasted–and has a deep appreciation for this caring community. While she and her family love to travel, they find that coming home to Lambertville is the highlight of every trip.

There are so many beloved books, it’s difficult to choose! A few nonfiction books I’d recommend are Good Inside: A Guide to Becoming the Parent You Want to Be by Becky Kennedy, Parenting Without Borders: Surprising Lessons Parents Around the World Can Teach Us by Christine Gross-Luh, The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, Effortless: Make It Easier to Do What Matters Most by Greg McKeown, and Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel by Rolf Potts.
