Kathleen Jones Harris
Position: Trustee

Term Ends: 12/31/25

Kathleen and her husband Jim started spending time in Lambertville in the early 1980s. When they became Lambertville homeowners in 2020, the first of many warm welcomes Kathleen received was from the library staff. Kathleen quickly learned how connected the library is to the community and how responsive it is to community needs, and she happily signed on to become a library trustee. Kathleen brings to this role twenty-nine years of service in New Jersey public libraries and fifteen years of experience doing community-connection work as a parish pastor. Kathleen has a BA from Mary Washington University, an MLS from the University of Pittsburgh, and an M.Div. from Drew Theological School.

My favorite books are The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley, Anxious People by Fredrick Bachman, and Leaves from the Notebook of a Tamed Cynic by Reinhold Niebuhr.
