The Library Summer Reading program runs from June 17 to August 29!

Who can participate?
- For Teen Summer Reading at LFPL, teens ages 11 to 17 can participate.
- 11 year olds have the option to participate in either teen or kid’s summer reading, but not both.
- Some exceptions may be made for teens over 17.
How does it work?
- Grab a Teen Summer Reading Bookmark from the front desk at the library!
- Record your reading every day.

- Each bookmark is worth 5 Hours OR 250 Pages of reading.
- Make sure to mark your end-of-summer Grand Prize Gift Card Raffle selection on the back of the Teen Summer Reading Bookmark and turn it in to the librarian at the front desk.
- At the library, put your Teen Summer Reading Bookmark in the “Teen Raffle” box.

- You’ll be entered in both the Monthly Teen Prize Raffle and end-of-summer Grand Prize Gift Card Raffle.
- Be sure to grab a free book from the Young Adult prize book cart and something from the teen prize box too!
- Bonus Prize: Once you turn in 2 Teen Summer Reading Bookmarks, you get a free prize Needoh/other squishy!
- Keep Reading all Summer!

- The more bookmarks you hand in, the more likely you are to win a Grand Prize! You can keep turning in bookmarks until August 19.
- Grand Prizes Raffles are:
- Howling Basset Books: $20
- Owowcow: $20
- Starbucks: $20
- Giuseppe’s: $20
What counts as reading?
- Summer Reading is supposed to be fun! Read what interests you.
- Graphic novels, manga, eBooks, audiobooks, and re-read books all count!
When does it happen?
Teen Summer Reading 2025 runs from June 17, the Last Day of School, until August 19
How do I start?
Starting on June 17, all you need to do is come to the library to pick up a Teen Summer Reading Bookmark.
