For any questions about ages 11-17 Summer Reading, you can reach out to the Youth Services librarian, Danielle, at youthservices@lambertvillelibrary.org!

Who can participate?

  • For Teen Summer Reading at LFPL, teens ages 11 to 17 can participate.
    • 11 year olds have the option to participate in either teen or kid’s summer reading, but not both.
    • Some exceptions may be made for teens over 17.

How does it work?

  • Grab a Teen Summer Reading Bookmark from the front desk at the library!

  • Use the chart on the bookmark or go on Beanstack to record your reading every day.
    • Each bookmark is worth 5 Hours OR 250 Pages of reading.

  • Make sure to mark your end-of-summer Grand Prize Gift Card Raffle selection on the back of the Teen Summer Reading Bookmark and turn it in to the librarian at the front desk.

  • At the library, give your Teen Summer Reading Bookmark to the librarian at the front desk or show them your hours completed on the Beanstack App.

    • You’ll be entered in both the Monthly Teen Prize Raffle and end-of-summer Grand Prize Gift Card Raffle.
    • Be sure to grab a free book from the Young Adult prize book cart and something from the teen prize box too!

  • Bonus Prize: Once you turn in 5 Teen Summer Reading Bookmarks (this is 20 hours OR 1000 pages of reading) you will receive a $5 LTC Coin to spend at Lambertville Trading Company.

  • Keep Reading all Summer!
    • The more bookmarks you hand in, the more likely you are to win a Grand Prize! You can keep turning in bookmarks until August 20.
